On February 5, 2026, a paper with Assistant Professor Junichi Yamamoto as the first author was published in the international journal Scientific Reports. This study elucidated part of the molecular mechanism underlying the synergistic effects of pomalidomide (marketed as Pomalyst) and panobinostat (marketed as Farydak), two drugs used in the treatment of multiple myeloma, and provides insight into their efficacy against treatment-resistant multiple myeloma.
